Module review

I used to hate the idea of having to draw a mind map. At first, i find it quite hard to do a mind map as i didnt know the right technique. I used to prefer point forms over mind map as to me its easier to read. After learning the right technique of producing a mind map, i somehow prefer mind map over point forms as its more colourful and we can illustrate too. Above is a sequence of my way of mind mapping. After a few weeks of doing mind map, i could see that my mind map got more attractive and simpler to read.

After learning how to produce an advertisement, i became more interested in advertising. I just feel like changing my course too. I've learn alot from this module, especially on generating ideas and expressing it after that.

Forced connection part 2- food

We did forced connection on food in class today. We had fun sharing our ideas. I feel like chef as well as a food critic, trying to improvise the taste of the food. Some of our ideas have already existed in some countries like example cappucino ice cream. We picked on of the best food combination by voting. Everyone was satisfied with the twisties masala flavour as it is more healthy. The real masala dish is oily and it contain alot of coconut milk which is quite fattening. So by adding masala flavour into twisties, its more delicious and appetizing. Plus its alot more healthier as there is no oil and it is being baked instead. Twisties is now a dish which you can snack on anytime and anywhere.

Forced connection-emotions+object

Our lecturer showed us images of how emotions can be applied on objects. I choose a clock as my object.

Hardworking is portrayed by the clock running

Passionate is portrayed by the clock hugging itself

One of the clock hand is facing downwards and another one is in a position where it is saluting.

Greedy is being portrayed  by the clock hugging all the numbers to itself.

Creativity is being portrayed by the clock hand holding a pencil.

Sadness is portrayed by the hands of the clock facing downwards
